A message to the members of my church:
This week there was a policy change within the handbook of the church stating that children of same-sex couples could not be blessed or baptized until they were 18, to which many responded with pain and anger, while others responded with attempts to help soften the blow.
Some applauded the church for taking a moral stand (though controversial), while others immediately announced their intent to resign.
